This Cookie Policy explains how Sendarix uses cookies and similar technologies on its public website. It is meant to be clear and practical; it is not legal advice.
This Policy describes how we use cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar client-side technologies on the public Sendarix website at www.sendarix.com and related marketing pages. It does not fully describe technologies used in the Sendarix dashboard or application at app.sendarix.com, which are addressed in our Privacy Policy and related notices.
Some identifiers and signals collected through these technologies may be combined with other technical or operational data and may constitute personal data under applicable law. Please read this Policy together with our Privacy Policy, which explains broader data practices for Sendarix services.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by your browser. Local storage and session storage are browser features that let a site store data on your device for a period you control (until you clear site data) or for the browser session, respectively. We also refer to pixels, tags, scripts, or similar tools that read or write data in your browser as “similar technologies” where relevant.
We group technologies on the public website into the following categories:
We use technologies that are strictly necessary to load pages, maintain stable operation, and protect visitors and our infrastructure. This includes measures delivered through our CDN and security providers (for example <strong>Cloudflare</strong> or comparable services). Those providers may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies for security, abuse prevention, bot detection, rate limiting, and edge protection where needed. Some controls (for example challenge widgets on a contact form) load only on pages where they are needed, not site-wide. These protections are only enabled where necessary to protect the service and are not used for advertising or tracking purposes.
They may process technical data such as IP address, browser and device metadata, request patterns, timestamps, and the outcome of security challenges or risk checks. We configure optional analytics and marketing technologies so they are <strong>not</strong> activated unless you consent where applicable (see below).
When you respond to our cookie banner, we store your choice (for example “Necessary only” or “Accept all”) in your browser so the banner does not appear unnecessarily on later visits. This storage is used for consent management and site experience, not for advertising.
| Technology | Purpose |
|---|---|
Browser localStorage key sx_cookie_consent_v1 | Stores consent state: mode (necessary or accept when saved; before a choice, the site may use unset in memory only), necessary (always true), analytics and marketing (true only after Accept All), and ts (milliseconds since epoch when saved). |
If you clear site data, use a different browser or device, or if storage is blocked, we may ask you to choose again.
We do not use optional analytics or marketing tags on the public website by default. If we introduce such technologies in the future, we intend to keep them <strong>off</strong> until you provide consent where the law requires it, and we will update this Policy and our consent controls before activating them.
We do not use cookies on the public website to sell personal data or to share personal data for cross-context behavioural advertising as described under U.S. state privacy laws. If our practices change in a material way, we will reflect that here.
Optional technologies are not loaded or executed unless the user has provided explicit consent through the cookie banner.
Like many websites, we rely on infrastructure and service providers (for example content delivery, security, hosting, and DNS). Pages may also load embedded or referenced resources such as fonts or scripts from third parties. Fonts, stylesheets, or libraries hosted on third-party CDNs (for example Google Fonts or jsDelivr) may process technical data such as IP address in order to deliver content. Those providers may also process technical data needed to deliver the resource or protect the service, such as IP address, request headers, browser or device characteristics, and timing information.
We select providers carefully and use contracts and configuration where appropriate. We do not list every sub-processor in this Policy; the Privacy Policy describes our privacy program at a higher level.
Some of the providers we use may process data in countries outside the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or your country of residence, including the United States. Where required by law, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses (SCCs), the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or other lawful transfer mechanisms, together with technical and organisational measures.
Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar laws apply, we generally rely on <strong>legitimate interests</strong> and/or <strong>necessity to provide the online service you request</strong> for strictly necessary and security-related technologies, balanced against your rights. We rely on <strong>consent</strong> for optional analytics and marketing technologies when consent is required. Laws in other regions may use different labels; we apply the same practical approach: necessary and security technologies to run the site safely; optional tracking only after consent where required.
If you block or delete strictly necessary or security-related technologies, parts of the site may not work correctly, and security-related flows may be less reliable.
Consent preferences stored in your browser remain until you clear site data for our site, replace them with a new choice, or they are overwritten if we change how preferences are stored. We do not assign a separate expiry date to the consent record in the current implementation beyond what your browser retains.
Server-side logs and security records are retained according to operational and security needs and as described at a high level in our Privacy Policy.
The public website may generate technical and security logs (for example web server or application logs). Identifiers from cookies or similar technologies may be associated with those logs for purposes such as security monitoring, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, site reliability, and demonstrating consent where needed. This Policy does not replace or redefine our full privacy program; see the Privacy Policy for broader processing.
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change how the public website works, add or remove technologies, or when laws or guidance evolve. When we post a new version, we will adjust the “Last Updated” date at the top. If we introduce new optional analytics or marketing technologies, we intend to update this Policy and consent controls before or when they go live.
